There was a fairy in the corner of my eye
She whispers and whispers but I heed her not
There is a fairy in the corner of my eye
Hiding behind eyelashes and skin folds
She puts herself beneath the earth
And sleeps for the while, that the trees may grow above her
I love that little fairy
I am want to listen and doomed to repeat
I hide from that little fairy
I hope to be found by her
She takes a peek beneath my lids.
There is a man caught between my eyelashes.
She’ll free him, the man inside of me.
part king, part prince, a man and a boy, a patriarch and pure potential inside of me
